Being the parents of such an adorable happy little girl is the biggest pleasure in our life! We had such a fun Christmas! We loved to drive around and look at Christmas lights with Cambria and watch her eyes sparkle in bright colored lights and delight! It was so wonderful! At times when she was fussy, but nothing was really wrong, Craig would lay her down under the tree! She loved looking up into the branches and stare at the lights and the pretty sparkling ornaments! Our tree has all white lights and is decorated with Silver and White. The motif is Snowflakes! She just loved to watch everything sparkle!
Here is our tree Christmas morning after a visit from Santa Claus!!
Here's Baby Cambria with her new jammies that say "My First Christmas" and her Tea Set
Craig was so excited for his car flags
and Craaazy excited for the Bourne series
Santa got me a new set of Christmas knives!!! I didn't even know he knew I wanted them! Santa is amazing!!!!
Christmas Eve night We went and had Christmas at Nonnie and Papa's with all of the Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins! Before Santa came, Papa got out his Guitar and sang some Christmas songs! Cambria decided that Papa's voice was beautiful, but it was her turn for a Solo!
As always she sang her heart out until mommy grabbed the camera, then she got a little shy! She and Daddy played on the floor by Nonnie's beautiful Christmas tree!
Santa came for the Grandbabies at 8, and brought Cambria the coolest mobile! It projects moons and stars onto the canopy over her head!! It is already installed, and put her right to sleep tonight!
This is a 3-photo succession of Cambria opening her present from Nonnie and Papa, then chewing on it to make sure it is cute enough to wear. (does that sound like the "why'? it's our guess!)
These adorable pictures are Cambria with cousin Evee! They love each other so much and will be the best of friends! We realized, about 30 minutes in, that this was Cambria's and Evee's first Christmas! Evee will be one on January 16th, so Mandy was VERY pregnant last Christmas!!
Then Saturday, Christmas morning we got to talk to Aunt Maureen for a long, long time. Cambria jabbered and giggled the whole time so aunt Maureen got to hear her. Maureen is currently serving in Baltimore, MD. It is actually Aberdeen, but close enough! She has a Samoan companion, and calls her Soa (companion). They seem to be having a blast together! Maureen sounded so happy and has even learned some Samoan!!
We got to talk to Uncle Connor later on in the evening! Hurray!! He is in Spain!!! That phone had to be much shorter, sadly. And Cambria was eating the whole time! But Uncle Connor was on speaker phone, so Cambria got to hear his voice! He sounded so happy! I could hear the smile on his face and the joy in his heart! He sounds like he is loving every second! He is growing into such a wonderful man!
At about noon Grandma and Grandpa Dalton, and Clare, Caleb, and Chloe arrived at our house! Craig and I had Chloe and Caleb this year so they opened their presents! G&G got Cambria the stacker rings and so many wonderful books!
We had such a wonderful Christmas, spending time with the people we love!
