This is our BEAUTIFUL Mylea Theresa Dalton just moments after her
quick and graceful entrance into the world! (4 hours of labor, and 8 minutes of pushing!)
Aunt Mandy, Lily and Evee came to visit the next morning! Lily was eager to hold baby Mylea!
She did such a good job!
Nonnie came to visit again in the afternoon! It took Craig and I about 18 hours to agree on Mylea's name. We were discussing spelling and pronunciation. When Nonnie came, we were able to tell her we decided on Mylea Theresa, after Nonnie, Theresa Lea. Nonnie wasn't a fan of many of the name we discussed through out the pregnancy, but when we told her Mylea's name, her eyes filled with tears. How could she argue???
May 27th 2012 Craig was able to give Mylea her name and blessing.
We were so excited the Uncle Mark and Aunt Kitty happened to be down in Az for the weekend!
We had such a wonderful day with all of our family that was able to come.
Like her older sister, Mylea can't stand to have her arms swaddled into her blanket.
Regardless of who swaddles her, and how tightly she is wrapped,
she is always able to wriggle at least on of her arms out!
Here is our big girl in her first bath in her pink tub!
Nonnie had wanted Mylea to be born a week late, and come on Nonnie's birthday, April 18th. Mylea had an agenda all her own, and came 8 days early! (much to mommy's relief)
She is just so precious! Her head was smaller than my hand!
Grandpa and Mylea getting acquainted, just a couple of days after her birth!
Daddy loves his bonding time (cuddling) with his new, beautiful girl!
Mylea's wonderful Grandma Ronda came to stay for a few days when she was born! Grandma gave Mylea her first at-home sponge bath!
Mylea is just arriving home from the hospital! I love this picture because you can see the pattern on her head! We believe, if I had pushed, we would have had this baby in the truck on the way to the hospital! Luckily, that did not happen! The doctors said that the pattern on her head was from the pressure of her being ready to come about 10 - 15 minutes before she actually did!
Mylea's second day at church! She is wearing this beautiful dress that her Great Grammy Sherry bought for her when they met for the first time.
Mylea was showered in hugs and kisses in the form of cuddle blankets from her grandma's and great-grandma's! It is so wonderrful to have these tokens of love from each of these wonderful women who love us so much!
Thank you! We love you more than words can express!
